Amazon Black Friday 2026: What Amazon Influencers Should Film and When
Black Friday is the busiest shopping stretch of the year, and for Amazon influencers it is the best chance to turn videos into commissions. The catch is timing: if your videos go live too late, you miss most of the event. Here are the key dates, the categories that sold best last year, and a simple plan for what to film.
Key dates for 2026
- Black Friday: Friday, November 27, 2026
- Cyber Monday: Monday, November 30, 2026
- Amazon’s sale window: expected to run from November 19 to November 30, 2026, about 12 days. For comparison, the 2025 event ran from November 20 to December 1.
The point for influencers: the event is not one weekend. It is close to two weeks, and shoppers start watching videos and comparing products before it begins.
What sold best last year
Adobe’s data on 2025 holiday shopping gives a good picture of where shoppers spent their money:
- Electronics, including TVs, home theater systems and headphones. Bluetooth headphones and speakers saw the biggest jump on Cyber Monday.
- Video games and consoles, one of the fastest-growing categories of the season.
- Home appliances, such as vacuums and air purifiers.
- Toys, with some of the deepest discounts of the year.
- Beauty and personal care, including cosmetics.
- Apparel, which also saw strong discounts.
- Gift-friendly extras, such as digital cameras, luggage sets and fitness equipment.
You do not need to chase every category. Pick the ones that fit your niche and audience.
What to film
- Products that will be on sale. Shoppers during Black Friday are looking for deals. A video on a product with a real discount converts better than one on a full-price item.
- Gift-friendly products. Many Black Friday shoppers are buying for someone else. Show who the product suits and why it makes a good gift.
- Comparison videos. “Which robot vacuum should you buy?” or “Budget vs premium headphones” helps shoppers decide quickly, which is exactly what they want during a sale.
- Products in your niche you already know well. Your strongest video is still one where you genuinely understand the product.
One caution: popular deal products can sell out during the event. Favor products from brands that look well stocked, and avoid putting all your effort into one product.
When to film and upload
Work backward from the start of the sale:
- Now through early November: choose products and film.
- First half of November: upload. Amazon reviews videos before they go live, so give yourself time for that before deals start.
- During the event: share your videos on social media and link to the deals while they are live.
If you also post offsite, Black Friday is when it pays off most. Shoppers search YouTube and social media for deals and reviews. I explain why it is worth doing both in Amazon Influencer Onsite vs Offsite.
After Black Friday
Shopping does not stop on Cyber Monday. December gift shopping continues until shipping cutoffs before the holidays, so videos on gift-friendly products can keep earning for weeks.
