Viral Vue vs Oink Media Kits: What Amazon Sellers Actually See

Every week, influencers send me their media kits through Creator Connections. More and more of them arrive as a link from Viral Vue or Oink for Influencers. Both tools turn your stats and videos into a page you can share with brands, but they show sellers very different things. Here is how each one looks from the seller side, and which one fits which kind of influencer.

Why the media kit link matters

A seller cannot open your Amazon profile from the message panel, and your first message only holds a few lines. A media kit link is often the only place a seller can see your numbers and your work in one view. If it is clear and believable, it can be what turns a maybe into a reply.

Viral Vue: built on verified Amazon data

When I open a Viral Vue media kit, the first thing I see is a row of Amazon numbers: earnings, items sold, revenue generated and videos completed. Each one carries a Verified badge, and the page shows when the influencer became active.

As a seller, that is what I trust most. Many media kits list impressive numbers I have no way to check. Here, the figures are marked as verified, so I spend less time wondering whether they are real.

The numbers show as rounded ranges rather than exact totals, and they cover both onsite and offsite earnings. That is all I need to judge an influencer’s level. One catch on your side: Viral Vue asks you to refresh your earnings summary in Associates Central at least once a month to keep the stats verified.

Two other details stand out:

  • The email is protected. The contact button only reveals the email after a click, which helps keep it away from scrapers and spam.
  • It is focused on Amazon. The page lists video types and product categories, and links to your Amazon storefront, YouTube and Instagram.

The trade-off: you see less of the influencer’s actual content. The kit has room for a rate card, specialties and a custom link, but only if you fill them in. One kit I opened showed “No product categories yet,” which is a missed chance to show fit.

Oink: rich content across platforms

An Oink media kit feels more like a portfolio. It opens with the influencer’s profile and bio, then a section of numbers from the last 30 days, such as Amazon clicks, conversion rate, items shipped and revenue, along with YouTube and TikTok Shop figures.

What I like most is the Selected Work section. Videos are grouped by platform: Amazon storefront videos, Amazon Live replays, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and UGC. In a minute or two, I can see how the influencer films, talks and presents products. That tells me more about category fit than any number.

The trade-offs:

  • The numbers are self-reported. The kits I have seen show no verification, so a seller has to take them on trust.
  • The email is shown openly. That is convenient for sellers, but easier for spammers to collect.

Oink’s media kit is free, with no credit card needed. You get one kit with a rate card, five designs to choose from and its own clean link. The paid Pro plan adds up to 10 kits, so you can tailor one to each brand or niche, plus the full Chrome extension for Amazon influencers.

Which one should you use?

Choose Viral Vue if your Amazon numbers are your strongest selling point. Verified data answers a seller’s first question, “Is this real?”, before they have to ask it.

Choose Oink if your content is your strongest selling point, especially if you post on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram as well. Letting sellers see your best videos in one place does a lot of persuading for you.

Whichever you pick, fill in every section. An empty field on a media kit is the first thing a seller notices.

If you want to land holiday campaigns, set your media kit up now. Sellers plan their Black Friday and holiday promotions weeks ahead, and the influencers who can share a clear, complete kit when a seller replies are the ones who get booked first.
